What I love about weekend is I have the time to explore new places. Last weekend, we've visited the famous Mt. Samat in Bataan. It was a long drive from Manila but visiting the place was worth it.
It was my first trip to the north and Bataan is one on my bucket list. This is a very random trip and we've decided to visit the Dambana ng Kagitingan. Based on my research, the Dambana ng Kagitingan was dedicated to the fallen Filipino and American fallen during World War II.
I was a little bit tired but when we're on the top of the cross, the view up there was amazing. The structure was so beautiful and very historical. It has an available elevator, it lifts 7-8 persons. It was a great experience for me. I will definitely be back in Bataan and explore more places. Any suggestions?
Want to go there? Mount Samat is located at Pillar, Bataan, Philippines.
